HEALING STORYTELLING CIRCLES

Not that long ago and as part of our lives we sat together, as a family or tribe, around a fire or a table filled with nourishing foods while listening to stories about our ancestors, the way life was, where do we come from, the importance of respect and other meaningful things. These " simple" gatherings would provide us with a sense of belonging, a feeling of warmth and comfort, deep connections weaved through life giving us structure, order, groundedness, tears of sadness and joy, inspiration, awe...such is the power of a story! 

What is life if not countless stories! 

Each one of us has a big incredible story divided into thousands of smaller ones and since today we barely sit around the fire anymore and there is a lot of loneliness and isolation I felt the urge to create this sacred space, as well as doing some healing work with our stories.

Storytelling circles is meant to give you that sense of safety, warmth, comfort and belonging and in addition to that, we will work on sharing your chosen story in a way that will provide a shift in perspective, an insight or maybe even the possibility to re-create and heal some memories. 

We will do some healing work, we might act a bit, move, paint and do whatever is needed for each person, in order to feel empowered by the new-story. This work will be done in a safe and progressive way, respecting the time and openness of each person. Integration is more important than rushing to change. I will not push towards breakthroughs but respect the timing and readiness of each individual. Sometimes maybe just sitting there and listening is what a person needs. 

We all carry painful stories that created wounds, scars and beliefs about life and ourselves...it is my wish and aim to transform those wounds and beliefs by looking at them, acknowledge them, thank them and lovingly help them depart as we feel we do not need them anymore, if that will be the case, each one at their own time and way. 

These circles are normally formed magically so that you will also benefit from the stories of others. There are no coincidences here. It is all part of divine timing. 

The circles have a form and structure but once we start I tend to feel and perceive the moment and the work required, this is how I work.

It is dynamic, alive and has a whole and systemic approach.
